BEESTON CYCLING CLUB SPONSORSHIP
Robert Ellis are pleased to have been invited to be continued sponsors of the Beeston Cycling Club with chairman John McKay spearheading the funding for these young racers, himself having spent a great deal of time speaking with local and national businesses that have mutual goals around youth development and local sustainability.
With these aligned values it is clear that both parties benefit and we have been able to generate a good level of sponsorship to deliver racing development for the young riders and racers.
In supporting the young riders through the academy on a specific training plan helps their development and race craft as well as clear physical fitness. Whilst out sponsorship helps take away a financial burden from the parents, it also allows the parents to be parents and reduces their pressure on the overall coaching.
We understand from John McKay that into 2021 they are planning to run further teams at under 23, junior and youth level, some of whom have grown through the programme and have reached this age as part of the Beeston Cycling Club.
All levels of under 23, youth and juniors will be targeting national race experience and are also looking to gain experience in Europe. To this end a vehicle has been sourced and is wrapped in the promotional Beeston Cycling Club logo as well as the sponsor’s logos and is something we hope to see around the area on its way to and from races.
