CAFÉ CULTURE HITS BEESTON
Beeston town centre is set to be booming with businesses due to the council deciding to invest £50 million long term in the area. The funding of D2N2 has redeveloped the old Beeston bus station area, bringing a fantastic social space for all and a cool cafe culture.
Beeston is a thriving, growing community and already has a popular retail centre with a diverse selection of independent shops and high street stores, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, as well as craft fairs, general and farmers’ markets. With fantastic transport links close by including the NET tram, Beeston train station and excellent bus routes it is a perfect location and very accessible currently attracting around 100,000 visitors each week.
With still more to come, the square is currently home to the Arc cinema, which has 700 luxury leather electric recline seats across 8 movie screens and regular deals available to include student Mondays, Silver Showings and Kids Club.
Next door to the cinema is stylish Italian restaurant, Ottimo, with a passion for fresh, quality ingredients expect big flavours on classic Italian dishes, something we feel they have certainly managed to pull off. This neighbours The Beeston Social, a new contemporary Beeston bar, if you’re a fan of Nottingham bars like The Hockley Arts Club, The Magic Garden, Das Kino, and Penny Lane then this will certainly be the bar for you, with all the best bits rolled into one. With the space for 300 inside and on sunny days fold back doors opening out into further seating this is certainly the place to be on a sunny evening.
Set to open later this year is Rassam’s, a new luxury dessert bar, with waffles, pancakes, and ice-creams on the menu we are confident this will be a hit. There is already a popular brand in Yorkshire, and this will be there eighth restaurant opening, the first outside their home county, knowing the people of Beeston we are sure they will be in full support of this new business.
With food, films, drinks, and pudding all within walking distance, there really is no reason to leave Beeston, it is a massive thumbs up from Robert Ellis and we cannot wait to see what other tenants will be announced!
